Thinking of moving to Phoenix AZ and don’t know where to start? Today I am going to take you on a tour of a small community located in North Phoenix! Welcome to Anthem Arizona!

Anthem is probably the furthest north Suburb of Phoenix Metro Arizona. Located on Hwy 17 going north towards flagstaff and is About a 30 min drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Built in 1999, this community is a Del Webb Master planned community known for it’s year round activities.  There are just over 27000 residents here In Anthem.

Being a resident of Anthem gives you access to the community center and 3 parks in the area. There is an Olympic sized swimming pool with water park, rock climbing wall, fitness center and various sports camps for children and adults of all ages.

The center of the community is Anthem Community Park. This 63 acre recreation has fun for your entire family. There are 2 playgrounds here, one for the littles where parents can relax and watch from the shade. Or the multilevel playground for older kids to explore!

Enjoy live music at the amphitheater. This is especially popular on Friday Nights from 7-9pm with Music in May. This is a free event so grab a picnic dinner and relax and enjoy the beautiful arizona weather and local music.

There are many walking trails through the beautiful green spaces.  Relax and have a picnic or spend time catch and release fishing. Stop by on Saturday mornings for the Farmers Market. It takes place November - May Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm.

If you love playing sports, there is so much for you to do here. If you are adventurous…then check out the expanded skatepark! In 2011, the Veterans Memorial was opened to honor those who serve in the Armed Forces. You can also take a ride on the Daisy Mountain railway around the park!

WHERE TO LIVE

Anthem is split into 3 main subdivisions. The villages, Parkside and the country club.

The villages of Anthem is a 210 gated condo community. It features X bed, X Bath, and X SF homes with 2 car garages. Priced from… Mostly 2 story units. In addition to the amenities available to anthem residents, the village residents have access to a private pool and spa, community grill and a fitness center.

Parkside features about 7200 homes approx x beds, x baths, x-x sf and sf lots priced from…. Here you will find the 4 different communities, one is gated and one will allow you to park your RV behind your gate. You don’t find that a lot here in arizona. Typically HOAs don’t like to see your boat or RV above your gate. Parkside is Also one of the subdivisions that has homes west and east of hwy 17. The west is served by the city of Phoenix and east by Maricopa county. 

The Country Club is a gated golf course community featuring about 2900 homes approx x beds, x baths, x sf. Priced from…Residents within the gates pay additional HOA dues for the amenities within. These include 2 clubhouses, fitness centers, tennis courts, swimming pools, golf courses, and restaurants.

SHOPPING! 

Spend time shopping at the outlets of Anthem and other local shops or grab a good bite to eat at one of the restaurants throughout the community.
